Regional Office Opening in Pontypridd

On Saturday 2 October, Heledd Fychan, Plaid Cymru Member of the Senedd for South Wales Central officially opened her regional office in the heart of Pontypridd town Centre.

Heledd was joined by the Leader of Plaid Cymru, Adam Price MS, and local activists from across the region.

Speaking at the opening, Heledd said: “Since May, myself and the team have been helping constituents with a whole host of different issues and working with community groups across the region.

“Having an office now in Pontypridd, close to the train station, means we can welcome people in-person and continue to offer support where needed.

“We are also running street surgeries across the region, and virtual and phone appointments. Please get in touch if we can help via [email protected] or by ringing 01443 853214.

Adam Price added: “I am thrilled that Heledd has opened her Plaid Cymru regional office in the centre of Pontypridd and at the heart of the community. Heledd and her team have hit the ground running focusing on community issues such as the flooding and the fact that we still don’t have an independent inquiry nor justice for those affected.

“Places like Pontypridd is where we will build the new Wales from the ground up - community by community - reaching out and working together for a better future for all.

“If you’re in the area, I highly recommend you drop in for a chat with the team who are always there to listen, help and support.”

The office will be open Monday to Saturday.

The office’s address is 2 High Street, Pontypridd.
