Over the past few years, I have supported local residents in campaigning against the expansion of Craig Yr Hesg Quarry. Applications for expansion have been rejected twice by Rhondda Cynon Taf’s Council Planning Committee and now Planning and Environment Decisions Wales’ public inquiry into the extension is set to begin on Tuesday 21st of June 2022.
There will be an opportunity for local residents and other interested parties to present their views and evidence on the afternoon of Tuesday 21st of June and the morning of Wednesday 22nd of June.
Residents who wish to speak on these days are requested to email / write to PEDW before the 10th of June but residents will still be able to request to speak on these days.
