As part of Pontypridd Green Week, I'd love to hear the thoughts of residents livings in South Wales Central on all things to do with nature and the environment. This includes everything, from large scale governmental actions to combat the climate and nature emergency to more local issues such as the recycling provision in the area. Q: What action would you like to see Senedd members take to tackle the climate and nature emergency?
A: Stop the production of plastics which can’t be disposed of. Improve recycling facilities.
Regeneration of local sites to improve biodiversity. Improve and develop public transport to tackle air pollution.

A: Be honest and promote the Green New Deal strategy at every opportunity you get.

Q: What other Green topics are you concerned about?
A: I am concerned that the Welsh Government cannot admit that it made a mistake in not calling in the Northern Meadows build. Wholly inappropriate to build on open green space in a city. There are many green encroachments of building on Green spaces throughout the city.
Furthermore, I can see through the plan of schools being built on playing fields of other schools and on brownfield sites in order to release schools with large grounds for land grab housing estates.

A: Stop the destruction of the Northern Meadows.

A: The destruction of the Northern Meadows. This development should never have been given the green light. Numerous specialists and clinicians have publicly spoken out against the design and location of the cancer hospital. There are few green spaces left in Cardiff, especially ones which are biodiverse and ecologically important. This development must be stopped.
